Spring Cleaning +GIVEAWAY

Friday, April 4, 2014

Seeing as I have recently moved and the seasons are changing, what better time to have a spring cleaning!

After moving, I realized that I have a lot of stuff -stuff which is mostly comprised of books. I had about 5-6 tubs full of books to lug home. Talk about bad gas mileage. But as many of you know and can identify with, you can't live without your books, and for me, it's just comforting to see them on my shelves.

Sadly, I don't have three shelving units anymore; I only have the one, so I had to be extremely picky on which ones I put on this bookshelf. But as I went through my book boxes, I found books that I no longer cared that much for, but I knew other people might cherish. So that's why I decided to do the spring cleaning GIVEAWAY!

These are the books for the Giveaway *US only*:

Beautiful Darkness by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl (Hardback)
The Maze Runner by James Dashner
Dragonswood by Janet Lee Carey

    1. Yeah, I can agree. I'm definitely a spring cleaner. Get all the clutter I've stored away over the past year makes me feel better, especially when summer comes around. :)

    1. Yeah, it can get really tiring and sort of overwhelming, but the finished product is always worth it.

  9. I usually don't do spring cleaning, but I have gotten rid of some old stuff that I don't need anymore. I grow very attached to things though, so I almost always keep all my books, even if I have to put them away in a box in my closet!

    1. That's actually what I've always done. I have boxes and BOXES of books out in my attic. They are books that deserve love though I'm afraid no one would want them since they are years old haha. Maybe a donation to the library is in order. :)

  14. Spring cleaning happens at least four times a year around our house. It has too because we have so many people living here. It seems like we are always taking clothes to goodwill or salvation army to donate but the shoes don't ever live that long lol.

    1. Haha I'm with you! I normally "spring clean" after Christmas (so somewhere in February or March) and then in about September or October. I always have bags of clothes, but never shoes to give. I wear my shoes til they can't be worn anymore lol!
