Hello, Love: November Vol.3

Wednesday, November 19, 2014

Hello, Love consists of the things I've found in my adventures across the Internet, stored in my pockets, and can't wait to share with you. Consider this a secret archive for the bookish, the dreamers, and the movers and shakers of the world.

1. You should watch these hilarious Hunger Games parody songs. I about died laughing.

2. The Series of Unfortunate Events adaptation coming to Netflix? Hopefully this one will be better than that movie that no one ever mentions.

3. Learn how to arm knit an infinity scarf in 30 minutes! These could make awesome Christmas gifts!

4. Cuddelbuggery jumps in and talks about all the condescending things people say to bookish people.

5. Are you a fan of the Inheritance Cycle by Chrisopher Paolini? Here's what he has to say about his return to Alagaësia.

The sound of leaves crunching beneath your boots, a cold wind blowing through the countryside, and a dusting of snow outside your window. All that means that Christmas is close and cuddle season is here. So grab a partner, build a fire, and have fun making s'mores.

  1. Whatwhatwhat....Christopher Paolini is writing more books? This article I MUST read. I'm super excited about Lemony Snicket! I really love the movie though and can't see how anything could be more awesome, but I so want to see them flesh out the entire 13 books. ^-^ So I'm happy!!

    1. Oh yeah! Crazy, right?! He has dozens of stories for the world of Alagaësia, and I'm so pumped for every single freaking one of them, but I have a feeling that he will try his hand at other books in the scifi genre before he comes back to Eragon.

I know! I'm excited about Lemony Snicket too! I personally did not care for the movie. I didn't like Jim Carrey playing Olaf. I don't remember him being all that funny or awkwardly funny. He was kind of a scary old man. Also, I hated that they didn't take enough time with each book in the film. They put three books into one movie, and you just can't do that. Le sigh, I just love Unfortunate Events so much. I just want it to be perfect lol!
