My Top Ten Favorite Etsy Shops

Tuesday, January 20, 2015

As always, Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by the lovely ladies at The Broke and the Bookish.

Knob Creek Metal Arts creates some really cool bookends. It's always nice to keep your books from falling down on your bookshelf, and this is also a fun way to display special books.

You've probably seen the soy candles by Frostbeard. They do all sorts of fun bookish scents like Sherlock's Study, Sassenach, Winterfell, and The Shire.

Tiney Book Town does tiny book necklaces for the bookish jewelry wearers. She carries some of the latest awesome YA books like Fangirl and The Fault in Our Stars.

RoobyLane is one of my favorite Etsy clothing shops. She does everything from skirts to scarves and bags. She had a Harry Potter scarf, a Middle Earth map skirt, and an Alice in Wonderland bag.

Though Morning Sunshine Shop is probably the least bookish of the ones I listed, it's probably one of my favorites, and everyone should have a nice cup of coffee or tea with a book. You can do custom mug orders, but typography and words are her favorite to put on the mugs.

Becca from Pivot Book Reviews has her own Etsy store where she sells hand-painted bookish totes. SHE'S AMAZING! And I'm not saying that because she's my bestie. I really truly love her work.

Shaileyann has the most awesome computer decals EVER! I think I may get one or two even though I already have Little Mermaid on my computer. She does all sorts of decals such as Welcome to Night Vale, Mischief Managed banner, Bad Wolf,  I Believe in Sherlock Holmes, and The Deathly Hallows.

Do you like awesome buttons? You should check out Distinct Designs Unlimited. Her buttons are awesome to put on totes and bags.

Cara's Bookish Charms is soooo cute! I love her necklaces the most I think. She has necklaces with The Hobbit book, Mortal Instrument runes, and Peter Pan silhouettes.

Sherry Ann's Shop... talk about cool. She takes old pages from books and prints a cool drawing on them. She has prints of Where the Wild Things Are, Winnie the Pooh, and Le Madeline.
My favorite is below:

AMPjournaldesigns. I figured, I might as well put my own shop up here too for those of you who just recently followed me. I design Moleskine journals with all sorts of bookish quotes and designs. I design journals with all sorts of themes like Daughter of Smoke and Bone, Throne of Glass, and Mara Dyer, among others. I also accept custom orders, so you can tell me what you want and I will design it specifically for you.

Do you have favorite Etsy shops you want to share with the rest of us? Or why don't you tell us what you think about the items you saw above!

  3. I wish the shipping costs were a bit lower sometimes. I LOVE those book ends (but expensive :o) and I love those old pages with a drawing on it.

  8. I love some of those bookends at Knob Creek Metal Arts.

This is a cool feature. I'm somewhat familiar with Etsy, but it's nice to have a list of some of the cool bookish stores there; there are so many shops that it's sometimes hard to find what you're looking for!
