"I want to remember what it feels like to love someone like that. And not just anyone. I want o know what it feel like to love Charlie."
I bought this book the day it was released on Amazon, but for some reason, I didn't get around to reading it until a week later, after everyone and their dog was flipping their shiz over the ending.
I didn't understand how it could have been that big of a deal, where it surprised practically 99.9% of the population who read that book... but I was wrong. So very very wrong. It was just as crazy as everyone was saying, and I seriously don't believe Hoover and Fisher knew what they were thinking leaving their readership in such a state of chaos with that terrible, horrible, exceptionally cruel cliffhanger... Well, maybe they did know what the were doing, because it made me love them all the more.
This was an utterly refreshing read. I hardly know what to really categorize this book. Was it paranormal? Was it contemporary? I don't even know, because they don't explain it! Half the time, I had absolutely no clue what was going on, but the only thing I did know was that I loved it in all its chaotic and unknown glory.
This is the hardest review to write because I just want to talk about the amazing spoilers, but obviously that would be mean to the people who have not yet picked up this astounding book! And I'm not a mean person, so I will leave you guys with the fact that you must read this book. It's very short and will take you a couple hours, max, to read, and it is SO absolutely worth it!
I gave this book 5 stars on my Goodreads.
