A Glance Back: March

3 Things that Happened this Month:
1. North Texas Teen Book Festival. Dude! You guys, this was the coolest events! You should check out my post about it here and enter into the giveaway for a SIGNED Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo and a Six of Crows bookmark!
2. Spring Break. Guys, you have no idea how much I needed Spring Break. Actually, I don't even think I knew how much I needed it until it was there. I did so much reading it was unreal and it was 100% glorious!
3. Tornado Season is upon us. So I experienced really bad Oklahoma tornado weather this past week and I kinda freaked out. I'm from Texas, we have very few tornadoes, so I was not doing very will. I just pray that the next couple months aren't terrible.

The Top Books I Read this Month:

The Heart of Betrayal by Mary E. Pearson

A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas

The Deal by Elle Kennedy

The Winner's Crime by Marie Rutkoski

Confess by Colleen Hoover

Ignite Me by Tahereh Mafi

New Obsessions:
Most of you know that I was probably a Broadway star in a past life because I am so in love with Broadway soundtracks. If my entire iTunes library was made up of instrumental music and Broadway soundtracks, I would be 100% fine. I recently got the Aladdin Broadway soundtrack, and I haven't been able to stop listening to it on repeat for weeks!  I also got addicted to Chia Bars. Gah these bars are amazing! So effing expensive (like a dollar a piece), but they are soooo worth it! They do an amazing job at curbing hunger.

Month in a Photo:
I gotta meet Stephanie Perkins at my local library!
She is seriously adorable and soooo sweet!

What I'm Looking Forward to Next Month:
The Weekends. I feel like the weekends are my catch up times. I do the most reading and school work that I need to do for the next week over the weekend. I constantly feel like I'm playing catch up, but I'm hoping that it's only because I'm taking a ridiculously hard course load this semester.

I was unburdened as a piece of dandelion fluff, and he was the wind that stirred me about the world.

I'm oxygen and he's dying to breathe.
-Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi
Words, I think, are such unpredictable creatures.
No gun, no sword, no army or king will ever be more powerful than a sentence. Swords may cut and kill, but words will stab and stay, burying themselves in our bones to become corpses we carry into the future, all the time digging and failing to rip their skeletons from our flesh.
-Ignite Me by Tahereh Mafi
