Hello, Love: April Vol. 1

Wednesday, April 1, 2015

Hello, Love consists of the things I've found in my adventures across the Internet, stored in my pockets, and can't wait to share with you. Consider this a secret archive for the bookish, the dreamers, and the movers and shakers of the world.

1. Samantha from Bookish Serendipity talks  the 6 books she wished she had written.

2. You guys don't understand... I am soooo jazzed about the new Beauty and the Beast adaptation that Disney is working on. Luke Evans is playing Gaston, and he can sing... I think I might faint!

3. Can't choose between Uppercase and OwlCrate? Jamie from The Perpetual Page-Turner provides you with the pros and cons of each subscription!

4. On Twitter there's this account called @broodingYAhero and this is a compilation of his best tweets!

5. Cait from PaperFury discusses her brainstorming process when she writes. You should check out this awesome writing post!

6. ALERT! ALERT! Everyone needs to watch this and laugh! Buffy as Cinderella vs Belle rap battle!

It's the first day of April and summer seems to be well on its way. Welcome the spring rains because that means flowers are soon to follow!

  1. The Beauty and the Beast remake is amazing, especially for the Dan Stevens. :D

    1. Yeah! I really like Dan Stevens in everything he's been in... my only worry is if he sings... I don't know if he does. And there are some KILLER and BEAUTIFUL songs the Beast sings in the Broadway version that I hope they incorporate into the movie!

  2. Is the Beauty and the Beast adaptation actually going to be a musical? I haven't really heard anything one way or the other. Everybody seems to be assuming it is...

I'm more excited about Dan Stevens in that movie. I'm glad he's getting some decent roles and exposure since he decided to leave Downton Abbey.

    1. Yes, it will be a musical! Emma and Luke both have talked about vocal lessons for this project. I don't think they could do an adaptation of the the DIsney Renaissance classic without the implementation of the same music. All I hope is that they add a few of the songs from the Broadway version because there are some amazing songs from the stage production.
